So many people need hope today. Often I hear of folks who are ready to toss in the towel on the economy, jobs or life. This has prompted me to write a series of articles called Hope Happens. Obtaining guidance in level-headed nutrisystem at target. The series is going to be similar to my book Secondhand Hope which is available from Amazon.Com. It’s not a plug for the book and some stories may overlap. What I want this series to be is a source of inspiration and a reprieve from the daily grind.

6 Reward yourself. When you achieve something, be good to yourself with a nonfood reward. Use such rewards on a regular or even a weekly basis. For instance, if your goal was to lose one or two pounds that week, give yourself a reward for doing this. If it was to exercise three or four times, and you did it, then give yourself a reward. Go to a movie, concert or sports event, or buy yourself a piece of clothing. Each week you should set new goals and motivate yourself by providing a special reward for a job well done.
Your extra weight is the end product of years upon years of unhealthy eating behavior. You will have to recognize that behavior, change it, and then slowly and gradually lose those unwanted pounds. However, you can use your imagination to picture yourself without the extra weight. The best mental imagery you can apply is to think of yourself as a sculptor who is creating a piece of beautiful art. Remember, the gradual chiseling away of extra fat will be slow, but it also may be permanent.
25. Don’t try to change the world. Try just impacting your tiny corner of it. Make your street a nicer place. Plant a few fruit or nut trees. Join a neighborhood group. Expand your food as medicine pantry. Get a regular “rent party” together and pass the hat for those who have lost their job or have unpaid medical bills. Next week, that person might be you. Pick up the garbage you come across, even if it isn’t yours. Remember that the world is bigger than you are, and that you don’t own the earth or the things in it. You are a part of the Earth, and are owned by it.
Make healthy food choices – In this fast-paced, inflation-driven world in which we now live, its easy to make unhealthy food choices. Unhealthy food is convenient and cheap. However, unhealthy foods don’t best serve your interest. Your body is dependent on your taking the time to adequately care for it, which means that you have to make it a point to do whatever it takes to ensure its good health. You only have one body so you have to take care of it.
Moderate exercise can relieve your pain even though it may seem counter intuitive. Sometimes when your pain is the worst is when you need to get up and move. Simple steps that improve your circulation will relieve your pain. Pain likes to latch onto a specific weak area in your body. It likes to follow the same “route”. If you throw up a road block, with a new routine, the pain signals get confused and don’t know what to do. The pain response gets blocked. If you tried traditional Physical Therapy do something different. Try a gentle Tai chi class or restorative yoga class. They are easy, and gentle but will do the trick. Or try rebounding, bouncing on a mini trampoline.
